An invitation to graduates, former classmates and friends of The Bromfield School’s Class of 1983!

Bromfield Class of 1983 – 30^th Reunion Weekend – October 11^th-13^th, 2013

It’s our 30^th high school Reunion! We hope that you will be able to join us for one or more of the reunion events scheduled for Columbus Day Weekend!  We promise that it will be fun and well worth the trip!  While many of you have already indicated that you plan to attend, now you can help the planning committee by providing your tentative RSVP or make your decision official by registering!

Schedule of Events

Friday Evening:

7:00 – 11:00  Informal drop-in at The Billiards Café.  39 Main Street, Ayer, MA (www.thebilliardscafe.com) – All classes & friends of the class of 1983 are welcome so please spread the word!

Saturday:

9:00 – 4:00 The Harvard Flea Market (www.harvardfleamarket.com) -All classes & friends of the class of 1983 are welcome so please spread the word!

10:00 Informal gathering at the “Wall” near Harvard Common – All classes & friends of the class of 1983 are welcome so please spread the word!

2:00 – 3:00 Co-ed Basketball game at the Bromfield gymnasium.  Lace up those old sneakers and join in.  – Official reunion event for registered attendees.

6:00 – 7:30 Hors d’oeuvres and Cocktails at Shaker Hills Country Club (cash bar) 146 Shaker Road, Harvard, MA (www.shakerhills.com) – Official reunion event for registered attendees.

7:30-midnight Buffet Dinner & Reunion activities at Shaker Hills, with something for everyone, including those of you who do not eat meat.  After dinner activities will include the Senior Slide Show.  – Official reunion event for registered attendees.

Sunday:

10:00 – 2:00 Brunch at The Westford Regency.  $21.95 per person (separate fee) – All classes & friends of the class of 1983 are welcome so please spread the word!

Time/Day TBA: Anyone interested in a round of golf on Saturday or Sunday?  Tee times can been reserved for 18 holes, cart included, for the discounted rate of $79 per person.  Clubs are also available for rental ($50).  If you are interested in golf please submit the RSVP as soon as possible and someone will contact you via email about tee times. LODGING

Need a place to stay?  We have arranged for a block of rooms at a special rate at The Westford Regency Hotel, just a few minutes up Route 495 from Harvard.  Please refer to ‘Bromfield 30^th Reunion’ when calling for the group rate of $110 per night.

PRICE

The reunion cost is $70 per adult or $135 for 2 adults.  After September 1, or on site registration, is $75 per person.   This covers the cost of the Hors d’oeuvres and buffet dinner for Saturday evening, as well as the cost for the gym, janitor, and function hall.  We will not, however, turn anyone away for whom the cost of attending would present a hardship.  Please come!  We are also offering a 14-passenger van to shuttle classmates to Shaker Hills and then back to the hotel in order to provide safe passage for everyone.  We welcome any donations to help defray the costs of the van and the driver for the evening.

PICTURES & BIOS

We are looking for old and new pictures of all our classmates & faculty (whether or not you are able to attend the reunion)!  If you have any ‘old’ pictures from high school we’d love to have them to include in a movie slide show for Saturday night as well as online.  Please also send new pictures of you with your family and a bio to let us know what you’ve been up to.  Send information and photos to bromfield1983@gmail.com or to the mailing address at the end of the registration form.
